Bible Stories

Kayla wanted to teach family home evening this week and decided she wanted to talk about Moses. Perfect I thought that is what we are learning about right now in Gospel Doctrine, it is fresh on my mind. So of course I end up helping Kayla tell the story of Moses to the kids and when I get to the part when they are in the wilderness and do not have any water to drink Blake seems to get interested in what I am saying. Blake, "No water mom?" Me, "no Blake they had no water." Blake, "Drink juice then." We all started to laugh, well of course they should just drink juice if they have no water.

Blake turned 3 earlier this month and is really starting to talk more and more. He loves to build things and help Jared in the garage. He just went into the garage and brought in a hammer, screw driver, and pliers to fix "something". I had to take them away and told him to go get his tools, he was pretty mad at me.
He loves his sisters and is always excited when the "girls" get home from school.
We have been swimming a few times this year and he is not as confident as he was last year, he wants to be in his inflatable boat and not out by himself with his floaties. He has a hard time pronouncing "swimming" instead he says, "pooing". Jared has so much fun teasing him when he says, "pooing dad". It is pretty funny.
He is fully potty trained now (except for at night, that kid can pee all night long!), he has even graduated from his little potty to being able to stand up and go in the big toilet.

#4

We had our first appointment yesterday and everything looks good. Normally you don't get to have a sonogram on your first visit, however I have 9 pound babies at 38 weeks (induced) and since we were not sure if my due date was accurate my Dr. wanted an ultrasound to find out how far along the baby is. So during my next appointment we will see if my Dr. will change my due date from Nov. 5th to Oct. 30th which is what the ultrasound was estimating.
